Tony
works for South Coast indie label Bluewave Records as a producer.
"I’ve worked a lot with a great singer called Michael Baldry,”
says Tony.
“He is Long John Baldry's cousin and that deep love of music runs in
the family. Michael's album ‘Diversity’ is out now. Making it was a
pretty amazing experience. We worked in Vancouver and Madrid, as well
as the UK, then did the final mastering at Abbey Road Studios in London.”
More recently, Tony and Michael have been writing and recording
new songs for a new Baldry album, which will be released later this
year.
The first track is ‘Easy Life’, a song written by Tony and featuring Michael Baldry backed by cult London reggae band
No.1 Station, with the legendary Eddie ‘Tan-Tan’ Thornton on trumpet.
The next track is ‘Guardian Angel’, written by Michael and Tony, and dedicated to Michael’s mother Dorothy.

"We’ve worked with some excellent singers and musicians,"
says Tony.
"The new tracks are sounding great. Eastbourne is an exciting place to be right now."
Michael Baldry's new single is 'Mean Sister' which he wrote with Tony Norman.
